In an overcast afternoon the Rattlers took the field against the Ironbirds. It was a great game as Omar came up with catch on the mound for an out and the rest of the Ironbirds played great defense. Saul was all over the field and tagged another runner going from second to third.
The Rattlers bats looked better with not a single player chasing a ball they hit. Coach Grossman said, “I was very pleased with how runners ran through first base and I’m starting to see some nice throwing out of our defense. We had a great practice this past Friday and I can’t wait for our next practice. I also found the snack to be quite tasty. “
