Coach Grossman was starting preparations for the Tigers on Wednesday but did have time for a brief interview. He said, “Well, I know we’ve got a good team and it was only a matter of time until our bats came alive. Almost everyone made some contact today and I’m sure our bats will keep improving. I was very pleased with our pitchers: Brendan , Charles and Bryon. We clearly have some good depth on the mound and that’s only going to help us as the season progresses. I’m looking forward to next week.”
